Patented pendulum absorber technology eliminates engine dynamic vibration and crankshaft twist.

Unlike conventional harmonic balancers that merely dampen engine vibration, the Rattler(R) uses the TCI(R)-exclusive pendulum absorber technology, to absorb engine vibrations throughout the entire rpm operating range. And now this cutting edge technology is available for 1997 & Newer LS1, -2 & -6 powered Corvettes.

The Rattler(R) is SFI approved and legal for use with all drag race sanctioning bodies. Its construction will stand up to even the highest horsepower Gen III Corvette engine while still being lighter in weight than dimensionally similar conventional balancers. Its 10% underdrive ratio allows it to deliver an increase in rear wheel horsepower by reducing engine accessory loads ? without reducing accessory operating efficiency. The Rattler(R) is CNC machined to strict tolerances, with precision laser-etched timing marks that cannot shift relative to the crankshaft centerline; this permits it to achieve a degree of timing accuracy that cannot be matched by OEM-style crankshaft dampers, regardless of manufacturer. The net benefits of the cutting-edge vibration-absorbing technology are a smoother running engine, increased valve train stability, more accurate ignition timing and longer engine life.

The TCI(R) Rattler(R) for LS1, -2 & -6 powered Corvettes is designed to work with all Gen III Corvette engines from 1997 to present. Featuring an OEM-compatible crankshaft pulley bolt pattern, the Corvette Rattler(R) is an excellent way to reduce vibration and increase horsepower output without tearing into your engine.
