The 2008 SEMA Show filled the Las Vegas Convention Center with zillions of (OK, maybe 3 million) square feet of manufacturers’ displays and show rides, highlighting the state-of-the-art in high-performance equipmemnt.

There was plenty of new stuff for Corvettes that was unveiled at SEMA, including these goodies:

If you’re into Vette Rods, you’re very familiar with Billet Specialties. They had two new items of interest to those of you building (or rebuilding) your vintage Vette to include the latest hardware. That includes their latest Tru Trac serpentine system, this time for LS-series (LS1, LS2, LS3 and LS6) engines. It includes a Polished Powermaster 105 amp 1-wire alternator one-piece alternator fan and pulley, an Edelbrock LS water pump, a billet aluminum tensioner and polished billet aluminum water pump, crankshaft and tensioner pulleys. To go along with their “Fusion” C6 Z06 exhaust systems, Billy Boat Performance Exhaust has come up with a set of long-tube headers for the C6 Z06. Made from 1 7/8-inch diameter CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel tubing, they’re fully TIG welded and include 3/8-inch thick flanges.
