Built into the DBX is the Abaco Digital Response Filter, which is used to filter out much of the “noise” associated with the mass air flow sensor. This is accomplished without sacrificing response time to air flow changes.  This integrated design dramatically improves vehicle drivability for those experiencing camshaft intake reversion or pressure surge (for turbo and/or superchargers).  

The DBX’s digital processor design allows you to download any of Abaco Performance’s base calibrations, or a custom calibration of your own design.  This is all made possible by a FREE software download from www.abacoperformance.com.  That’s right, the software is FREE!!! With this software and DBX’s digital design, this DBXTM is the first truly tunable mass air meter.

The DBX’s patent pending multi-sensor design allows the meter to be installed in any configuration, at any clock rotation with little or no signal deterioration. These features allow the DBXTM   mass air meters to be used in a suck through application or a blow through design such as a turbo application with the same mass air meter.

The DBX TM mass airflow meter is universal, not vehicle specific.  The DBX TM is currently available in (3) different configurations, 85mm, 97mm and 97mm with bell. With harness adapters available for 98-02 GM 3 pin and 01-07 GM 5 pin.
