Bob McDorman is a Chevrolet dealer and noted General Motors collector from Canal Winchester, Ohio and many of his cars have been featured as part of the Corvette Fever calendar in years past. From time to time Bob works through his collection of nearly 300 cars and sells those that are duplicates or to make room for something even more unique. He has a goal of replacing the rare with the ultra-rare.

The Bob McDorman collection offered by Mecum auction at Indianapolis, IN is made up of one-of-a-kind, low mileage, low serial numbers, or extremely unique vehicles. Cars of particular interest include the 1955 Corvette Roadster Test Mule EX-87, used personally by Zora Arkus Duntov, the 1964 Corvette Ozzie Olson GM Styling Car, and a 1991 Corvette Callaway Speedster with a 403 HP Twin-Turbocharged engine. Indy 500 Festival vehicles, a unique array of Corvettes and more are also part of the offering.

Select cars from the Bob McDorman collection will be sold on Friday, May 15. Check the web site for specific sales times. For more information about The McDorman Collection, visit the Mecum web site at www.mecum.com
