You asked...and here's another look at some Vettes that we've recently featured in "Your Ride In The Sporlight" in the pages of Corvette Fever.

This time, we've got some Vettes in the Ozarks...and one from deep in the heart of Texas.

Some birthday present! Here's Tiffany Morelan's '06 Corvette Convertible.

I'm 16 years old and currently a junior at Reagan High School in San Antonio. I've been nominated for the National Honor Society, and am a member for the French National Honor Society, Vice-President of the Fashion Club, in the Choir, and a member of the Alamo Area Corvette Club.  This past May, I got my car from my parents for my 16th birthday.  In order to get the car to pink, the original red color was repainted.  Each body panel of the Corvette was taken apart to paint it the pink that I picked out on-line.  Interestingly, the headlights had to be heated to 250 degrees, separated and painted inside, and put back together.  This work was done by First Service Collision in Addison, Texas.  I'm very pleased with the outcome, and enjoy showcasing my car at car shows, where it sure gets lots of attention! Forty years ago, my dad and I had matching Split Window Coupes, and my last Corvette was a 1974 Coupe--until July, 2007, when we bought the Velocity Yellow Coupe with paddle shift and F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control.

Feeling the need for more performance, I took delivery of our Atomic Orange Z06 in March 2008. My wife quickly laid claim to the Velocity Yellow Coupe, and we began upgrading both cars, and attending various shows and events.  Both of our cars have won 1st Place and Best of Show trophies, and received perfect or near-perfect scores at professionally-judged events.

Our son, a college senior, decided he wanted a Corvette—a Black C4.  His dedication paid off with a pristine LT-1 Coupe he found, negotiated, and paid for himself!  Our daughter is a college freshman whose mind is also set on a Corvette, as long as it is a roadster
