Want To See Your Corvette in "Your Ride In The Spotlight?"

Corvettes, readers' rides

Can you do us—and yourself—a favor?

We’re looking for reader’s Corvettes to feature in "Your Ride In The Spotlight," and the one that we’re really looking for is…YOURS!

This red '02 coupe owned by Ken & Nancy Dunlap from Junction City, KS got your attention, didn't it? (Especially the way it stands out from its background. )

We know you’ve got a real looker in your garage, that you’ve lavished plenty of attention (and hard work) getting it into the shape it is now. Why not showif off to your fellow Vette lovers, and maybe inspire them at the same time!

What we’re looking for are clear, sharp images showing off your Vette. Side-view, front-corner and rear-corner views work the best, especially when the doors, hood, etc. are closed. (When  you have GM Styling legends like Dave Holls in your neighborhood growing up, as I did during
the '60s, you learn a thing or two about styling and what shows it off the best!)

If you're sending a picture of just your car, we’d like a shot of your car by itself, as you see in the examples here. That way, there’s no distraction caused by some other car, or something else that‘s in the shot.

Multi-Vette shots, like this one showing Bob & Karen Smith's C1/C2 trio from Palm Harbor, Florida are cool!

If you have more than one Vette, bless you! Send us a shot showing them, as long as they're all in the shot and not cut off. We also like getting club shots--big group shots with members, their Vettes and their club banner work great, too!

Digital images work the best—specifically ones that are at least 4 x 6 inches (file size), 300 dpi (resolution) and 750k-2 MB (file size). If you’re still shooting on film, clear, sharp 4 x 6-inch prints work also. Either way, BE SURE THAT YOUR IMAGE IS IN FOCUS!

Is there something distinctive about (or on) your Vette? Show it off, like the license plate seen in this photo of the '66 Sting Ray that Jerry Beisner sent us from Lafayette, CA.

As for what info to send us…150 words about your ride, and what’s in it/on it is plenty. Take a
look at "Your Ride In The Spotlight" in previous issues of Corvette Fever for examples of what
we’re looking for in terms of text.

To e-mail your images/info to me, send them to scott.ross@sorc.com. Sending conventional
prints? Send them via US Mail, Canada Post or your home country's postal system to Your Ride In The Spotlight, Corvette Fever Magazine, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL 33619 USA.

It’s show-and-go season, so why not take a few shots of your Vette next time you’re out with
it, and send one to us?
