Update your first-generation Vette to modern chassis tech with Jim Meyer’s new Custom Pro Touring Chassis, that fits OEM or aftermarket ’53-’62 Corvette bodies.

This all-new Jim Meyer chassis is built on a brand-new stock (or custom 2x4-inch mandrel-bent box tube) frame with engine and trans mounts for any powertrain combination. The radiator core support, body mounts and bumper bracket mounts are all in their stock locations, and it’s available in left-hand or right-hand drive.

The standard IFS features 11-inch GM disc brakes, tubular upper-and-lower A-arms, optional 1-inch diameter anti-sway bars, your choice of coilover shocks or  ShockWave air suspension, and Jim Meyer’s “quick-turn” rack-and-pinion steering. The exhaust-friendly chassis is designed with a beefy double-tubular X-member that will accept up to a 3-inch exhaust system.

The 9-inch rearend comes with Dutchman 31-spline alloy axles, urethane-bushed rear parallel 4-link multi-position suspension brackets, and a Panhard bar.
