Previously, we previewed some of the "star" Vettes that were set to cross the block at this year's  Mecum's Kissimmee, Florida collector-car auction.

How'd they do? We thought you'd never ask.

Two of the Sting Rays that we brought you an advance look at were among the Top 10 sellers at Kissimmee.

Mecum's website (www.mecum.com) has the story behind this "Survivor Platform Car."

That included this 2-top, 435hp '67, the "Survivor Platform Car." Sale price: a cool $180,000.

Didn't this 427-powered Midyear make your Top Ten Most Wanted Cars At Kissimmee list?

Also finding a new home for $180,000 when the hammer came down: This Sunfire Yellow '67 that looked sooooo fine!

450 Horsepower on the air cleaner sticker....$100,000 was the hammer price!

How about the red '66 coupe that's an ORIGINAL 450hp L72 427? Sold....$100,000 was the winning bid..

Bid to $90,000 was this last-of-the-steel-bumpers '72 LT1 convertible.

Two of the "star" Corvettes that we brought you here didn't sell when they crossed the block. That included this yellow LT1-powered '72 Shark, which was bid up to $90,000.....

Bloomington Benchmark, 327 FI/4-speed '63 Sting Ray

....and this Bloomington Benchmark fuel-injected '63 Sting Ray convertible, whose highest bid reached $150,000.
