For many folks, any get-together that involves Corvettes means seeing old friends again. (Cars and people!)

When it comes to a Regional meet of the National Corvette Restorers Association (NCRS), those old friends get a good looking over. (The cars in particular.)

Meets like the NCRS Regional at Kissimmee--whose 32nd annual edition was this past weekend...are where Corvette enthusiasts, restorers and preservationists can have their prized Vettes judged, in hopes of landing the coveted Top Flight award.

Undergoing NCRS judging scrutiny: this '67 Sting Ray coupe, whose spare just got looked at by the judges.

Such was the case of this '67 Sting Ray coupe, which we spotted in the process of getting a thorough inspection inside and out, including the spare tire and its carrier.

NCRS judges were also busy with a couple of other Midyears while we were there....

Looking for the proper date codeson the glass
Looks like another 427-powered '66 is about to take flight (or advance a flight).

Wish we could have heard this '63 Z06 fire up!

...while this '63 Z06 looked like it was waiting for the judges--or the race track to open.
