Instead of showing you just one Vette previously featured in Corvette Fever's  "Your Ride In The Spotlight"...we're bringing you two!

 Two Of A Kind

Jack Alessandro
Florence, Kentucky
’63 Sting Ray coupe, ’03 50th Anniversary Edition coupe

Two of a kind, indeed--a Split Window and a 50th Anniversary Edition.

Jack bought the '63 Riverside Red split window coupe over four years ago, and when he took this photo, he had it nearly completed it  to all-matching-numbers original condition, after almost three years of searching for original parts, manifolds, and a Carter AFB and replacing all four main wiring harnesses. At that time, this 327/340-powered four-speed Split Window had 34,510 miles on it, most of which were put on by driving to cruise-ins every weekend.

The 2003 50th Anniversary Special Edition coupe is a complete joy to drive, per Jack. He says that going from one Vette to the other has its moments--one has all power options while the other has none!

And he adds that how far Corvette has come can only be appreciated when you have cars that are 40 years apart in age, and both are amazing to drive.
